Before you start this assignment, think about a team you have been on, like a school project group, a sports team, or a community service team. You can use the same team you wrote about in this week’s discussion.

Complete the Team Effectiveness Assessment to rate how well your selected team works together. Once you finish the online assessment, move on to the next part of this assignment.
Think about your team’s scores and answer the following questions in a total of 175 to 350 words (no more than 1 page; double space), using complete sentences:
Your team: Which team did you evaluate in the assessment? Do you think this team had diverse members? Why or why not?
Teamwork functions: Which areas of teamwork—like team development, giving and receiving feedback, working together to express goals, dealing with disagreements, defining roles, helping each other grow, and understanding and cooperating—was your team best at? Which area was your team struggling with the most?
Top contributors: Based on your responses and the feedback from the survey, what were the main factors that influenced your team’s score?
Improvement suggestions: Considering the results of the assessment, what changes could your team make to become more successful or efficient?
Explaining team power: How would you explain the importance of teams to a new employee? What’s the value of a team that works well together for an organization?
