OVERVIEW
Creating a Biblical worldview is an important step for Christian educators as they connect their
faith with their teaching practice. As believers in Jesus Christ, we are to look first to Scripture as
a lens through which we are to interpret life and everything around us. This assignment will
guide you through important questions to think through as you formulate your biblical
worldview. This is an initial assignment for the Biblical Worldview Paper Assignment.
INSTRUCTIONS
For this assignemnt, you must meet the following parameters:
 Using the Biblical Worldview: Initial Template, write a substantive paragraph from a
biblical worldview for each of the following fundamental philosophical questions that
relate to life purpose and that lead to a purpose for education:
o What is the basis for reality? Does God exist?
o What is the basis for truth?
o What values should anchor life decisions?
o What is the purpose of education, based on your answers to the first three
questions?
 Answers to each of the above questions must be supported by biblical references.
 Each paragraph response must be a minimum of 100 words.
 Based on the answer to question four, develop the philosophical chart that follows in the
template. In the chart, no minimum word count is required for each area; bulleted list
statements are acceptable.
 Current APA format must be adhered to for the title page, citations, and references.
