Discuss seven (7) of the following questions in your professional identity paper (APA style required, the rubric will be posted on D2L).
The personal goals and identity report are a reflective paper worth 40 points (double spaced, 4-6 pages in length, typed, font 12) which addresses the following issues and questions:
1.     What does “helping” mean to you now that you have practiced counseling techniques and reviewed your practice sessions?  What is your personal style?  
2.   What are your personal goals as a “helper”?
How does your interpersonal style enhance or detract from your responses in questions 1 and 2?
What are some personal and professional challenging counseling situations that you have encountered and what are ways you will prepare for these in your career?
What changes have you made to your ideas about counseling and the counseling relationship?
Identify counseling strategies that you have learned in working with your volunteer clients and feedback from live supervision that are congruent with your style?
What theory and therapy is most congruent with your emerging counseling style? What are the concepts or strategies of that theory that you find to be most useful?
What are specific behaviors that you have noticed that enhance your work as a counselor? What are the ones that you want to change?
What are perceptions that have changed regarding human nature, the nature of change, and the nature of dysfunctional behavior, thoughts, or emotions?
Identify some factors about this course experience which have fostered your growth as a mental health professional i.e. what has been most helpful?
What are some objectives that you learned with which you are very pleased? 
How has your growth or learning from this experience affected other aspects of your personal or professional life?
Share some comments/critiques of fellow classmates and what you have learned from them.
