Paper Design:
Your paper will have several required parts. Each section should be at least one paragraph and most will need multiple paragraphs to be complete.
First, you will summarize the article you chose.
Second, you will also discuss why you chose this particular topic for your paper.
Third, you will identify which chapter in the textbook includes information regarding your topic. You will summarize the information in the textbook regarding your topic.
Fourth, you will compare and contrast the information from your article and the textbook.
Lastly, you will provide a commentary on your opinion regarding the material in the article and the textbook and how they relate to each other.
References:
You must include references to any article, textbook, or other books or sources of information used in preparing the paper. You cannot cite unregulated (non-peer-reviewed) information sources such as blogs, wikis, personal websites, public question answer forums, such as www.about.com or webMD. Dictionaries and encyclopedias are also not considered appropriate references for college level writing.
Documentation:
Be sure to use appropriate APA in-text documentation as well as an APA formatted bibliography page.
Paper format:
Title page is not required and should not be used.
Length: The writing assignment must consist of a three to five word-processed, double-spaced pages of content (excludes reference pages and appendices) with 1” margins, 27 lines per page with an average of 12 words per line. The font shall not be greater than 12.
