Reproductive freedom continues to be a political issue. As explained in chapter 11, Healey et al (2019) mention that “…even to establish control of one’s own reproductive system, is hardly a new gender inequality issue” (pg. 413). The overturning of Roe vs Wade in June 2022, indicates that indeed women’s rights to an abortion are now halted and illegal in some states. Do you think that overturning Roe vs Wade is actually a step in the right direction? why or why not, explain and support your argument.
